UK A-listers snub Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton may have taken her quest for a best friend forever (BFF) to the next level flying to the UK for the British version of her show, but our dear heiress doesn’t seem to get a good reception from the country’s A-listers.
The Daily Star reports that although Paris finds London to be a place brimming with celebs she thinks are “frostier than a night in with Wino’s in-laws,” those A-listers have been turning down invitations to party with her.
According to the article: “Paris has been eyeing up the cool London scene for a while and was really looking forward to coming over and sampling it.
Sadly, though, she hasn’t been able to hook up with any of the current Bratpack like Lily, Amy and Mark Ronson.
She’s been well catered for at London clubs, but she wanted to go to the Groucho and they said they couldn’t waive their membership policy. She’s been particularly keen to team up with Lily Allen after hearing that Lil is off to Hollywood, but she’s heard nothing back.”
Paris was said to have invited Lily to party with her at the Cuckoo Club. However, the latter ‘opted for dinner at The Ivy in an eye-wateringly foxy leopard coat.’
Fortunately, not EVERYONE has made Paris into a social pariah. Big Brother blonde hottie, Stephanie McMichael has reportedly ‘stalked Paris to the Cuckoo Club bash in a desperate attempt to stretch out her 15th minute of fame with the one woman who does that for a living.’
At least somebody’s welcoming Paris with open arms, right?!
