Paris Hilton, our favorite Celebutante, was caught at the German border with an expired passport on Wednesday. Border agents told Pairs that she couldn’t fly into Austria on the expired passport. “My passport had expired,â€? Paris told reporters at a news conference on Thursday at a packed Vienna cinema in a mall owned by her host, Austrian building tycoon Richard Lugner.

German officials contacted the U.S. embassy, who vouched for Paris, and she was allowed to go on with her travels, but Hilton had to check in at the embassy Thursday morning to get an emergency passport.

I’m guessing the same people who were in charge of paying Paris’s storage fees are in charge of keeping her paperwork up to date.
