Some more reasons why I still think Paris Hilton’s new show is pathetic
Pathetic, childish, and so unreal. These are just some of my honest opinions that pertain to Paris’s latest reality show, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. And while Paris has been impressing me with her love life and marketing prowess, this new show of hers is just something I could hardly appreciate.
Last Thursday, as In Touch Weekly threw a Summer Stars Party in California that also turned out to be our dear heiress’s personal bash, I just had more reasons not to like the show.
At the event, while her beloved Benji Madden deejayed, Paris was busy filming scenes for her new MTV series.
According to E!
“Inside, Paris chatted up her potential friends, which have already been narrowed down to 15 contestants, while Benji spun. There are only two boys in the current group of prospects, and lots of pretty girls.”
“Of course the evening wasn’t without a few fake moments…
When cameras were rolling, P was all smiles, talking in her typical baby voice. But when she wasn’t being filmed, her speech was completely different.”
“However, just how much bonding Hilton actually wants to do with her buddies remains to be seen. All the contestants are being put up in a huge mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Although the show claims Paris will be living with them too, a source says she hasn’t slept in her room there so far.â€?
First, I thought the show would have 20 best friend wannabe’s? How were they judged to make it to the final cut? Talent, personality, face value?
Next, what’s Paris doing faking her voice? If our dear heiress herself can’t be true to herself in front of those who aspire to be her best friends, how does she expect getting a true friend from them? It just bothers me why she has to put on that sweet and baby-like personality when cameras are on her.
Now let’s go to that part where a source said Paris hasn’t slept in the mansion so far. Ever believed she’d give up her shopping, partying, and dating days just to be with 15 people who are ultimately strangers to her?! I’m sure Paris isn’t that desperate yet.
Anyway, the new reality has just started shooting and is still about to air, so who knows? Maybe then a miracle would happen and would make me like the show.
