Paris Hilton is expanding, set to launch a clothing line for kids

Paris Hilton signs autographs for fans at the 17th Annual Kennedy Center Spring Gala at the Hall of Nations inside the John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts on May 3, 2009 in Washington, DC.
She already has her own lines of perfumes, jewellery, shoes, pet clothes and women’s wear, but it looks like there is no stopping Paris Hilton from making more and more money using her name. This time, our dear heiress is set to launch her own clothing line for children.
Turning to her Twitter page – what’s with these celebs and Twitter, huh?! – Paris Hilton recently wrote, “Just got home from a long day. About to start drawing the character for my new children’s clothing line.”
Hmmm… Paris Hilton doing clothes for kids? I don’t know if that’s a good or bad idea, given the heiress’ image.
On second thought, she isn’t actually the only celebrity who has come up with the idea of dressing kids. Celebrity twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have a clothing line available in Wal-Mart stores across the US, aimed at girls aged four to 14.
Tori Spelling, too is on her way to launching her children’s line called, Little Maven by Tori Spelling which was inspired by her two kids, Liam and Stella.
So what do we think of Paris Hilton’s upcoming clothing line for kids? Not so good. Understandable for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as they were once known as those cutie twins on TV and screen, of course, Tori Spelling is a mom so that’s an excuse. But what does Paris have as a ‘passes’ to do designs for kids? Her fashion sense? I would understand if this was her BFF Nicole Richie, but her? I am not really sure.
