Paris Hilton finally talks about breakup with Benji
Finally, Paris Hilton has once and for all given her confirmation with regards to her breakup with Benji Madden, her boyfriend for nine months.
On an exclusive interview with Ryan Seacrest, our dear heiress confirmed through the host’s morning show, “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” that she and Benj have indeed called it quits.
However, Paris still seems to sound optimistic with everything, saying, “Right now, we’re just taking a break. We’re really good friends. We’re very close.”
And like saying she isn’t totally closing her doors for Benji, Paris adds, “You know, I love him. He’s such an amazing man and he’s my best friend and he’s been so great to me and so loyal. He’s an incredible person. We’ll always be very close. We’ll see what happens in the future. I’m still in love with him.”
So what’s the real reason for the breakup?
Paris shares, “We’re both working so much. I’ve been traveling; he’s been working nonstop in the studio with his brother on their new record.”
I guess that, too would answer rumors that her ‘flirting’ with her ex, Stavros Niarchos caused the breakup. In fact, our dear heiress calls the rumor as “ridiculous!”.
“Someone must have gotten a quick camera phone picture of me just smiling and saying hello to someone I haven’t seen in a year,” she adds.
And for those reports claiming Benji’s controlling personality was a factor for the split, Paris clears them by saying, “[Benji] is not a jealous person. I’ve never been treated so well in my life.”
Now that confuses me already. If Benji’s really that great and she’s still in love with him, then why the breakup? Surely, it can’t be just because they’re busy.
