Paris Hilton at Comic-Con
On her MySpace blog yesterday Paris Hilton seems so excited inviting her friends and fans in the San Diego area to catch her for Repo! The Genetic Opera Comic-Con panel discussion.
And yes, that panel discussion did happen today.
Was I able to catch Paris? Well unfortunately, no matter how I’d love to be there and see our dear heiress in person, proximity wise, it’s just impossible.
Anyway, as I’ve said, Paris did hit and heated up the Comic-Con “complete with a full entourage and scrum of backward-walking photographers,” as E! Online described her presence.
Paris, who plays the daughter of an organ-removal specialist shared that she auditioned for the film mainly because of the flick’s director, Darren Lynn Bousman. “I’m a huge fan of the Saw movies, so I immediately wanted to sign on,” Paris told the crowd. “Most people give me the role of the stereotype of what they think I am.” (Here goes that I’m-not-who-you-think-I-am line!)
The director’s response to this? – “I was like, whatever, no way.” But when he auditioned her, he claims, “She walks in the room and starts using words that I don’t know!”
Now that sure is a tip for those who wants to audition; use foreign words.
Comic-Con International: San Diego, commonly known as Comic-Con is an annual multigenre fan convention founded by Shel Dorf and a group of San Diegans. It is a four-day event held during summer in San Diego, California.
Aside from Paris, other famous celebrities who attended the convention were Tori Amos, Rose McGowan, and Keanu Reeves among others.
