Paris Hilton’s ‘political’ nature strikes again; campaigns for “Fake President” for new video spoof
Paris Hilton’s Funny or Die spoof video last August has successfully been a talk of the town (if not the world).
The video which declares her “desire” to run for office at the same time to get back at John McCain’s controversial ad campaign seems to have been a good diversion from the heated ‘real’ presidential election in the US.
And now, after the much success of Paris’s first ‘campaign’ video (click read more below to see video), comes another one elaborating more of her fake presidential bid. This time, our dear heiress is joined by “the greatest fake President,” Martin Sheen to talk about her campaign while in the kitchen at a Hollywood party.
In the video, Paris discusses her plans and ideas for the US including ‘FoPo’ which, she explains to a perplexed Martin Sheen is: “Foreign policy, silly!” (ha ha ha!)
“Running for fake president is a little daunting,” tells Paris to Mr. Sheen who was listening ‘sympathetically’ to Paris’s pleas and answers, “Being a fake president is a lot harder today than it was when I was a fake president.”
Now talk about policies…
“Iraq has a Democratic government that is asking for us to leave. It seems that we’ve done our job and we should bring our troops home safely,” says our dear ‘fake president’ heiress.
On the economy…
“This is the biggest depression since The Notebook,” she says of the 2004 tear-jerker film, adding that the government should “lower inflated interest rates so it’s not impossible for (people) to pay their mortgage.”
With Sheen telling Paris she would be a great ‘fake president,’ Paris leaves a message to the ‘real’ ones saying, “I hope that my political opponents take in consideration the points that I have addressed because I feel that they are important and, as well as, that my generation and the new young voters should become more involved with our current issues and speak their voice through voting.”
Now that sure is a good one, Paris! If I love the first, I love this second video more!
