Paris counters McCain ad… love it!
John McCain’s controversial ad featuring Barack Obama, Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton may have been really effective (in a negative way) that it fired up the Hilton clan.
Recently, Paris’s mom, Kathy Hilton, expressed her opinion over the ad campaign saying it’s a “waste of the country’s time and attention.”
Now, it’s finally Paris’s turn to get back at McCain’s ad. And no, she didn’t write any furious post on her MySpace blog nor did she have an interview with the press.
Paris Hilton answers John McCain’s ad in the most ‘classy’ and wittiest way I could think of. – A funny video!
Yup, since McCain thought his ad “has got a lot of humor in it” and that they’re “having fun and enjoying it,” our dear heiress probably thought it’s just right to get back at McCain in the same manner.
The spoof video launched yesterday at FunnyOrDie.com began by showing clips of John McCain with the narrator saying, “He’s the oldest celebrity in the world; like super old;” then followed by video inserts of old men that included Colonel Sanders of KFC(!), the narrator continues, “Old enough to remember that dancing was a sin and beer was served in a bucket,” and back with a McCain clip, the narrator continued, “But is he ready to lead?”
With a very quick transition the video then shows Paris sitting in a poolside wearing a leopard-print bathing suit, greeting “Hey America, I’m Paris Hilton and I’m a celebrity too. Only, I’m not from the olden days, and I’m not promising change like that other guy, I’m just hot.”
“But then that wrinkly white haired guy used me in his campaign ad, which I guess means I’m running for president, so thanks for the endorsement white haired dude, and I want America to know, that I’m like, totally ready to lead,” she continues.
Hilton then offers an alternative US energy strategy, suggesting that she plans to combine elements from McCain and Democratic rival Barack Obama. “We can do limited offshore drilling with strict environmental oversight while creating tax incentives to get Detroit making hybrid and electric cars. … Energy crisis solved, I’ll see you at the debates, bitches!”
For her vice president, Paris says she’s thinking of Rihanna, referring to the singer-songwriter.
“I’ll see you at the White House,” Paris says as she signs off. “Oh, and I might paint it pink. I hope that’s cool with you guys. Bye!”
I so love this video! Not that I love Paris, but then again, after seeing this, who knows, I might just turn out to be her fan? Funny and witty, serves McCain right I guess…
