Paris and Benj: A Retrospection
Although there hasn’t really been any official statement from either Paris Hilton or Benji Madden regarding their breakup, I guess it would still be good if we all take a look back at the relationship most people thought would end in the altar.
The start of a blossoming relationship…
Our dear heiress and the Good Charlotte guitarist started seeing each other in a romantic kind of way late February this year after Paris’ BFF, Nicole Richie gave birth to Harlow (Nicole’s partner, Joel Madden is Benj’s twin brother).
In a previous interview with Paris, our dear heiress admitted that she and Benj started dating even before the latter was still engaged to be married to Australian model, Sophie Monk.
Clearing the doubts…
Right at the start of their relationship, people have already doubted the longevity of the two’s romance.
But as time go by, Paris and Benj have proven their love was real.
Benj was the man who was always on Paris’ defense.
“I have never met that Paris Hilton. I have never seen that side of her. She is actually very different. She is sweet and caring. I have never heard her talk about money or her background or showing off. She is actually very down-to-earth,” Benj was said with regards to Paris’ notorious image.
On the other hand, Paris also thought of Benj as her best friend, saying in interview with People before, “We make it work so well because we’re best friends and we totally trust each other.”
And the gushing and the declaration of the undying love continued until…
A sad goodbye…
What went wrong in the relationship still remains a question (as of now). Sources relay that Paris got “fed up” of Benj bossing her around. But then, who knows there could be more?
