Lydia Hearst disses Paris Hilton, says “I’m Hearst not a Hilton!�
Famous celebrities dissing Paris Hilton ain’t actually news. But a not-so-famous personality affronting our dear heiress to insist she’s of better class, now that’s something.
Take Lydia Hearst for example. Ring a bell? Okay, I haven’t heard of her, too until now. But assuming we do, the 23-year-old heiress to a publishing fortune has been delivering some blows to her “more prominent and successful rival, Paris Hilton.�
In an interview with Ok! Magazine, Lydia dissed our dear heiress saying, “I went to college. … I’m a supermodel. I have a legitimate career in journalism, television, fashion and designing.â€? She then adds that with a vile statement, “I’m a Hearst, not a Hilton!â€?
Now, that’s harsh…
But come to think of it, who said she’d ever be (like) Paris Hilton?
I read this line from a blog that featured Lydia’s opinion on Paris, too, and here’s what it said:
“Lydia is already behaving a lot like Paris. She models (Louis Vuitton, Prada, Clinique, M.A.C.), is the new face for Escada fragrance and designs handbags for Puma.
She doesn’t mind taking off her top in a crowded nightclub, but she got really miffed recently when airport security revealed her panties when they dumped out her purse. That is so Paris.â€?
Hmmm… Now that sounds funny. She hates to be compared to Paris but she acts as if she’s a Paris Hilton wanna-be. Yes, a wanna-be. Come on girl, get real! So you went to college and have a legitimate career (as you claim), but you just don’t have the charisma and mass appeal of Paris.
So unless you change your style, you will always be under Paris’s shadow.
