Joel speaks about Paris-Benji split, says twin is ‘fine’ after the breakup
Paris Hilton has already said her piece with regards to her breakup with Good Charlotte guitarist, Benji Madden after nine ‘blissful’ months of being together. But whose side we haven’t heard yet? – Benji Madden’s.
And while our dear heiress has been apparently ‘too public’ with the breakup (she’s seen partying hours after their split), it seems like Benji opted to cope up in silent.
So how is Benji after the breakup? His twin brother, Joel Madden (Nicole Richie’s partner and Harlow’s father) talks about how his brother is coping up and tries to clear some issues as far as his brother is concern.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Joel tells that Benji is feeling “fine,” adding, “He’s a good guy and he’ll be fine and she’ll be fine. They’ll both be fine. I don’t think at the end of the day anyone reading it was like ‘Oh my gosh! What is he gonna do?’ or ‘What is she gonna do?’ Everyone was kind of like, ‘Oh.’”
“I think that Benj - he does his best, when he is with someone, to adapt to what they’re into or whatever… He’s down though, he doesn’t care, he doesn’t judge. He accepts anything.”
So what about the issue that blamed Paris’ flirting with her ex, Stavros Niarchos for the breakup?
Joel defends Benji, telling, “He’s not possessive, but he’s very clear about what he’s cool with. Very clear… (He) speaks his mind.”
Cool bro, huh?!
But what will happen with the Madden’s relationship with Paris?
He answers, “Paris is someone we all know. She’s been friends with Nicole since they were like three, and it’s not like we’re never gonna see her again… You just have to go, ‘Hey you guys, if it’s not working out, figure it out.”
“But we all have to kind of see each other. So I think that whatever they figure out they will. But it’s all good. Benji’s doing good,” adds Joel.
