Gay leaders want Paris Hilton to apologize
Paris’s recently leaked video, in which she makes an attempt to insult the masses has the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) wanting an apology - and with good cause.
In addition to a well-deserved apology, the group also would like an explanation for her behavior at the party where she uses a derogatory term for gays and calls herself and her sister “n–gas”.
GLAAD President Neil G. Giuliano says, “When Paris Hilton utters these words into a camera, it creates a permanent record that… she must bear responsibility for. These are not frivolous words, and to use them as if they are gives tacit sanction to the racism and homophobia they engender. Hilton has an obligation to go on the record, explain herself, and publicly apologize to the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) and African American communities and all those offended by these slurs.”
It pains me to defend Paris at all, but I really don’t think that she meant anything by what she said. It was thoughtless and careless, but I don’t think she meant to hurt or harm anyone… she’s just stupid. Now, Isaiah Washington? That’s another story.

Wait. Wait a sec. I don’t know what derogatory term she used for gays. In fact, I didn’t even know there IS a derogatory term.
Enlighten me?
