I once posted an entry featuring an overview of Paris’s latest flick, “The Hottie and the Nottie,” while doing the post I was honestly really intrigued with the movie. Of course the story sound so high school-ish but it’s intriguing nonetheless. However, since the movie isn’t out yet in cinemas here, I still haven’t had the chance to watch it. But will I still be interested in watching the film after it has been voted by IMDB users as the worst of all time?!

The 2008 comedy got an average of 1.2 on a scale of 1-10. But like ever???! The voters might be really busy playing online casino to concentrate well on the movie. I mean, I have yet to see the flick and I’m curious too if it’s really that bad. But hey, I’ve seen a lot of good movies, and several bad ones (say, JLo and Ben Affleck’s Gigli) so I wonder if it’s REALLY BAD.

I guess I really would have to see the flick, and if I did, I’d surely make my own review; either prove the votes right or prove them wrong. Isn’t this like betting from the best casinos online?! Sigh, I sure hope the movie’s not that bad…

It cannot be denied that Paris Hilton makes a big scene in the public without even doing a film. However, it can also be noted that though the elite model attracts a lot of attention, still her previous movies did not make that much impact for her acting career.

Many have said that even if she’s glamorous and a looker, she can’t take the attention of all when it comes to acting. With her previous movies done, many people have commented that they are not satisfied with her acting skills. And from the movies she made, all of them have not received very satisfactory remarks or response from the viewers.

To spite this impression of the people, the young model prepares so much to gear up well with her upcoming movie, “The Hottie and the Nottie.” Paris is said to have been working hard for her role in the comedy romance film. She plays the role of Cristabel who is determined not to date her longtime friend not unless she can find a perfect match for her ugly best friend—June.

With this new movie of the hotel heiress, she sees to it that she can make it good this time in the film industry and establish herself as a good actress. To prove this eagerness to act well she said, “I’m serious about acting and I have a bunch of movies lined up.” To be able to check the truthfulness of these words, we still have yet to see how she can fairly do her part in the movie.

To spite the issues and gossips, Paris Hilton comes out with something hot this February as she stars in The Hottie and the Nottie. The romantic comedy movie started to shoot in January 2007 and Paris is going to act with Joel David Moore, Christine Lakin and Johann Urb. The cute story was written by Heidi Ferrer who had also impressively written the story of Dawson’s Creek. The movie is also said to be the first ever full-length feature film of the well known director, Tom Putnam.

The story of the film centers on Cristabelle –whose role is played by Paris. Cristabelle constantly refuses to date her childhood friend Nate (Moor) not until Nate could find a perfect date for her ugly best friend, June (Lakin).

Nate was dumped and called a loser by his current girlfriend. With this maltreatment, Nate remembered his first crush, Cristabelle Abbott who was attractive already even at the age of six. As he was persuaded by the geeky friend of his mom about Cristabelle as the girl meant for him, he made a way to move back to LA and look for her.

As he arrived in LA, he found out that Cristabelle was still single and was even lovelier this time. In order for him to date his childhood crush he was forced to find a match for Cristabelle’s ugly best friend. To solve the problem, Nate brought June to a doctor for a complete make over but as June transformed into a stunning lady, Nate realized that he is no longer interested with the hottie anymore.

Just this morning, I opened my email and found out that my request to do this blog has just been granted. But what’s more exciting is that I also received an email from Chairi (thanks Chairi!) of younghollywood.com giving me a link to this latest interview of Paris Hilton. Wow! Life could never get this exciting!

The video was about Paris’ hosting a dinner party in Turning Leaf Lounge to promote her upcoming movie, The Hottie and the Nottie. Paris seems to be so excited for the movie which will open in theaters in February 8. Wooooo… I have yet to see the trailer of this film. But since I just took over this blog, I might as well catch it on cinemas.

Watching through the video, I can’t seem to help myself but smile. Asked what’s the best party to go to; miss Simple Life just gave her sweetest smile and answers, “Probably my party…” I love this girl’s character!

I’ve missed several days due to illness and, Paris being Paris, the news has piled up in the meantime! First, the big news is the trailer to Paris’ new movie, “Repo! The Genetic Opera,” which is featured above. I’m a big fan of horror movies, but I’m honestly not too sure about this one. I’ve never been a huge fan of Paris’ singing and, quite frankly, I’m rather embarrassed for Paul Sorvino, a great actor, who seems to be stuck in this mess! Watch and let me know what you think.

In other Paris news, our heiress was the most talked-about person in 2007, according to a survey by a Canadian communications company. “Socialite heiress Hilton came above the Queen as the personality with the most coverage in a survey of 632 million news items across 120 countries carried out by Influence Communications.” No big surprise here.

On the fashion scene, Paris is expected to attend Moscow Fashion Week. She is scheduled to appear at the show of Russian designer Kira Plastinina, who is only 14 years old! Apparently, the teen designer adores Paris, and told her father she wanted to have Paris herself visit the show. Paris is, reportedly, being paid two million dollars for her mere presence. We should all be so lucky!

Tomorrow, I’ll update you on the rest of the Paris news of the last few days. I wish I could say my life has been as exciting as hers but, due to some terrible flu bug, I’ve felt awful. It’s be interesting to see how Paris looked with the same type of bug I’ve had. Wonder if she’d still be in makeup and hair extenstions!

Here it is! The by-now infamous video of Paris being grilledinterviewed by David Letterman! Dave really pulled no punches on this one!

Paris was scheduled to appear on “Late Show With David Letterman” earlier in the summer. Unfortunately, she missed out on that appearance, due to her unfortunate jail sentence for a probation violation. She had not appeared on Dave’s show since her jail term, and Dave was quick to make up for lost time! After first asking how she was, Dave jumped right into the questions about Paris’ time in the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynnwood, CA.

“How’d you like being in jail?” he asked.

“Not too much,” Paris naturally replied.

Dave didn’t let up from there. He asked her humorous questions regarding jail food. “What would breakfast be?”

“Like a hard-boiled egg and an orange,” she said.

He then went on with questions about lunch and dinner. Paris began to kick her leg and squirm on her seat in annoyance. After cooperating for a few minutes, Paris wanted to change the subject. “I’ve moved on with my life, so I don’t really want to talk about any more,” she said.

Dave quickly replied, “This is where you and I are different, because that’s all I want to talk about!”

At one point, an audience member shouted, “I love you, Paris!” Paris replied “I love you, too!” and blew a kiss. Dave was quick to jump on this. “Is that someone you met in jail?” he asked.

Finally, after Paris’ comment that Dave was making her “sad I came,” Dave apologized and changed the subject, questioning Paris about her upcoming film “Rep! The Genetic Opera” and her new perfume.

Paris should have expected this kind of stuff from Dave. The rest of us have certainly come to expect it. After all, lots of people consider Paris’ jail term to be the most interesting thing she’s done!

Paris Hilton, Paris, David Letterman, Late Show with David Letterman, Paris on David Letterman, Repo! The Genetic Opera

Paris has begun filming on her new horror-musical movie, “Repo! The Genetic Opera“, in Canada. Here’s a plot synopsis of the movie, which is being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who directed the “Saw” series:

“Set in the not-so-distant future, the production tells the story of an epidemic of organ failures that devastates the planet, killing tens of millions. As scientists feverishly make plans for a massive organ harvest program, a multi-billion dollar biotech company called GeneCo begins to manufacture salvation – for a price – offering simple payment plans to those lacking the necessary funds to purchase new body parts outright. But all financed organs are subject to default procedures, including repossession at the hands of the notorious organ repo men.”

With Bousman at the helm, there’s sure to be a lot of blood and gore in this movie. I’ve always been a big fan of horror, and I can’t wait to see the upcoming “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” starring Johnny Depp, which is another horror-musical type movie. But I’ve never been too fond of seeing Paris in the movies. I mean, let’s face it. If you had to choose between watching Paris Hilton directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, or Johnny Depp directed by Tim Burton, would it really be too difficult a choice?

I might catch it on DVD, though. After all, in addition to Paris, it has Paul Sorvino and Anthony Head, who are two great actors. What do you think? Do you have the stomach to sit through Paris in a horror movie again after House of Wax? To be honest, the thought of Paris being in a movie makes it horror enough for me!
