Here it is! The by-now infamous video of Paris being grilledinterviewed by David Letterman! Dave really pulled no punches on this one!

Paris was scheduled to appear on “Late Show With David Letterman” earlier in the summer. Unfortunately, she missed out on that appearance, due to her unfortunate jail sentence for a probation violation. She had not appeared on Dave’s show since her jail term, and Dave was quick to make up for lost time! After first asking how she was, Dave jumped right into the questions about Paris’ time in the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynnwood, CA.

“How’d you like being in jail?” he asked.

“Not too much,” Paris naturally replied.

Dave didn’t let up from there. He asked her humorous questions regarding jail food. “What would breakfast be?”

“Like a hard-boiled egg and an orange,” she said.

He then went on with questions about lunch and dinner. Paris began to kick her leg and squirm on her seat in annoyance. After cooperating for a few minutes, Paris wanted to change the subject. “I’ve moved on with my life, so I don’t really want to talk about any more,” she said.

Dave quickly replied, “This is where you and I are different, because that’s all I want to talk about!”

At one point, an audience member shouted, “I love you, Paris!” Paris replied “I love you, too!” and blew a kiss. Dave was quick to jump on this. “Is that someone you met in jail?” he asked.

Finally, after Paris’ comment that Dave was making her “sad I came,” Dave apologized and changed the subject, questioning Paris about her upcoming film “Rep! The Genetic Opera” and her new perfume.

Paris should have expected this kind of stuff from Dave. The rest of us have certainly come to expect it. After all, lots of people consider Paris’ jail term to be the most interesting thing she’s done!

Paris has begun filming on her new horror-musical movie, “Repo! The Genetic Opera“, in Canada. Here’s a plot synopsis of the movie, which is being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who directed the “Saw” series:

“Set in the not-so-distant future, the production tells the story of an epidemic of organ failures that devastates the planet, killing tens of millions. As scientists feverishly make plans for a massive organ harvest program, a multi-billion dollar biotech company called GeneCo begins to manufacture salvation – for a price – offering simple payment plans to those lacking the necessary funds to purchase new body parts outright. But all financed organs are subject to default procedures, including repossession at the hands of the notorious organ repo men.�

With Bousman at the helm, there’s sure to be a lot of blood and gore in this movie. I’ve always been a big fan of horror, and I can’t wait to see the upcoming “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” starring Johnny Depp, which is another horror-musical type movie. But I’ve never been too fond of seeing Paris in the movies. I mean, let’s face it. If you had to choose between watching Paris Hilton directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, or Johnny Depp directed by Tim Burton, would it really be too difficult a choice?

I might catch it on DVD, though. After all, in addition to Paris, it has Paul Sorvino and Anthony Head, who are two great actors. What do you think? Do you have the stomach to sit through Paris in a horror movie again after House of Wax? To be honest, the thought of Paris being in a movie makes it horror enough for me!

The word on SF Gate is that Paris has donated lots of her clothing and shoes to children’s charities.
Hilton reveals, “I have, like, a million clothes and more than 500 pairs of shoes, so I’m going to give a bunch of them to orphanages and children’s hospitals. I never wear something twice.”

I guess the kids can use them for dress-up. Halloween is coming up. I’m sure some of the kids would really like to be street-walkers!

Seriously, I’m sure the clothes will probably be auctioned but, seeing that this is Paris, couldn’t she have just donated the money? It’s not like she can’t afford it! Is this her idea of philanthropy?

Paris and Adrian Grenier partied it up in Las Vegas over the weekend, and were spotted in a major make-out session. However, a “spy” had the following to say about it:

“Adrian is resistant because this is Paris Hilton,� says a spy. “She’s way more into him and was all over him. But he’s being good and hasn’t slept with her. They did make out, and Adrian felt that was too much.� Hilton’s rep insists that the two are “nothing more than friends.� ~ NY Daily News

Now, who among you out there routinely has makeout sessions with your friends? If that’s what Adrian is doing, is this just his way of “kissing up” to Paris Hilton-trying not to offend her by making out with her? This would definitely have to be labeled “strange!”

Paris’ little sis, Nicky, has debuted a new clothing line. Nicky debuted her new line, Nicholai(which is also her real name) at New York Fashion Week. Nicky’s 2008 collection includes bikinis, summer dresses, and evening gowns.

Nicky’s parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, were on the front row for the debut, but big sis Paris was off working. Rap mogul Russell Simmons was impress, saying of Nicky, “She’s been very dedicated for all these years. I think for her it’s a real passion. She’s seriously invested her time.”

Nicky first tried her hand at fashion three years ago, when she debuted her sportswear line.

Not only has Paris decided she wants a child by next year, but she has already picked out a name-the name she gave one of her cats! “If I had a child I would name him London. I used to have a cat named London. I like the name Paris Jr. too. I love babies. I’d like three or four,” she is quoted in China Daily as saying.

So Paris or London, huh? How about Rome? New York? Madrid? She seems to have a thing for cities.

According to Showbiz Spy, Paris has vowed to become a mom by next year! Paris apparently reported to Elle UK magazine that she wants to have a baby next year, and has to get her body ready.

A source said: “Paris told me, ‘I want lots of babies and a more simple life away from the celebrity spotlight. I did a lot of soul-searching about my partying and then I heard Nicole was pregnant and I decided it’s time for me to grow up and take responsibility - and the best way to do that is to become a mother.’ “

This one scare me. Paris as a mom? Well, she certainly is acting as though she wants more time away from the celebrity spotlight, isn’t she? Every time she turns around, she’s at another club, another party, another opening. And since when is becoming a mother the best way to grow up and take responsibility? There are tons of mothers out there who prove the opposite.

Paris, if you truly care about children, you’ve got it all wrong. The thing to do is grow up and take responsibility and then become a mother! Please get this one right!

Paris Hilton and James Blunt may not be in a relationship, but they apparently make beautiful music together! Paris joined James onstage at a party for swimsuit designer Diana Jenkins. They sang the classic duet “Summer Lovin” from Grease. Their song was well-received by the other party revellers, who sang and danced along!

Blunt left the party with German model Tatiana Patitz, who is his current squeeze. Guess his relationship with Paris is “just friends” now!

In keeping with her promise to do charitable works, Paris will co-chair the amfAR AIDS benefit. amfAR Rocks will be held in September in the Puck Building in New York. The benefit will be co-chaired by luxury fashion line Rock & Republic’s Michael Ball and Andrea Bernholtz.

The event will support AIDS research. amfAR has invested $260 million dollars in its programs, and has awarded grants to more than 2000 research teams worldwide, since 1985. Other stars attending will be Thom Filicia, Tim Gunn, Cynthia Nixon, and Ted Allen.

When Paris pens her third book, it will not be about her time behind bars! (Not prison bars anyway!) Contact Music has printed the following statement from Paris’ literary agent, Dan Strone:

“She is planning to do another book. She is thinking of doing a new book, and I don’t believe at this time, it’s contemplated to be a so-called prison diary. I don’t think that’s the direction she’s heading.”

But then, does anyone ever really know what direction Paris is heading? Even Paris herself?

Will Paris be the next star of the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother series? According to Life Style Extra she may be set to do just that!

after reportedly being offered more than £300,000.

The hotel heiress, who starred in her own reality TV show ‘The Simple Life’, is said to be desperate to raise her profile in the UK and sees the Channel

4 series as the perfect opportunity to do that.

A source said: “We told Paris, ‘Name your price.’

“We’re in firm talks and it would be a fantastic coup to get her.

“She wants to show she’s more than a blonde bimbo.

“She would easily be the star of the show - but obviously she won’t do it unless the money is right.”

Shilpa Shetty, the winner of the last ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, was paid a reputed £300,000 for her appearance but bosses are willing to surpass the enormous sum to secure Paris.

The 26-year-old star recently spent 23 days behind bars for driving with a suspended licence.

When she was freed, she vowed to change her lifestyle for the better promising, “The world will see a new Paris Hilton.”

Forbes reports that Paris has her 3000 square foot Hollywood Hills home up for sale. Paris’ uncle (and real estate broker) says that she needs “Something that’s more secure and more private.”

Built in the 1920s, the four-story Spanish-style home above the Sunset Strip embodies classic old-Hollywood luxury with its high wood-beam ceilings, archways and poolside cabanas. On an A-list block with views spanning across Los Angeles, the house is a few doors down from film star Cameron Diaz’s mansion.

Hilton, who paid just under $3 million for the house in December 2004, has renovated some parts without altering the original French Baroque features associated with vintage silver-screen Hollywood style.

Keeping with the period, high, dark wood ceilings contrast with white walls and match deep-stained wood floors. Crystal chandeliers and old mirrors reflect those tones and the ample sunlight that floods the house. Paris’ fellow party girl, Lindsay Lohan, may be facing jail time of her own. On Tuesday, Lohan was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of cocaine, and several other charges. All this happened when the mother of an assistant of Lindsay’s (who had quit her job with Lindsay several hours earlier) phoned police to report that Lohan was chasing their vehicle! Now, Lindsay could be facing serious jail time if she’s convicted of any of the new charges against her. Just when it looked as though her long stay in rehab might actually have helped! Man, keeping up with Paris is certainly difficult!

Music site NME has Billy Corgan of “Smashing Pumpkins” revealing how Paris Hilton ended up on their new album sleeve.

“The original idea was we were gonna see if Lindsay (Lohan), Britney (Spears) and Paris would all shoot..(but) Paris I knew personally and hung out with her a few times, and so I asked her…and God bless her, she came, she showed up at 10am on a Sunday morning, sat in the chair, got made up and (I) shot her.”

They actually wanted Lindsay, Britney and Paris?! Did they wanna change their name to “Trashing Pumpkins?”
