Barely a month after Paris Hilton’s home got ransacked and been robbed with over $2 million worth of jewels, recent updates have it that the police have already arrested a man they suspect as the mastermind for the larceny.

45-year-old Troy Thomas, also called as the Bel-Air Burglar is accused to be the mastermind behind more than 150 thefts in Los Angeles in three years. He is also said to be one of the two leaders of a gang that targets high-profile celebrities.

Aside from Paris, their victims were said to include Duran Duran guitarist John Taylor, cosmetics company Max Factor heir Davis Factor.

Thomas was arrested on Saturday at an airport car rental shop, according to thaindian.com. Police obtained a sample of Thomas’ DNA and matched it to the evidence at a crime scene. But (of course) he denies all the charges claiming he is 100% innocent.

But is he really the man?

Unfortunately, LAPD Special Burglary Unit say Thomas is not a suspect and the burglar is still on the loose. So I guess they’re back zero again.

In an interview with Life & Style last month, Paris shared how she felt about the incident. She said, “I am devastated. I cannot believe someone broke into my home. They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace.”

Both Paris and the police believe that the burglar may be someone that Paris knows and is familiar with the place.

Well I hope that’s enough clue to catch the burglar…

Proving that she is indeed a celebrity without privacy, Paris Hilton has once again got herself into some kind of hacking.

From her Facebook account to the recent robbery in her home, now it’s Paris Hilton’s site that’s been hacked. Thus, living her with a virus… a computer virus.

Gary Scott, a spokesman for computer safety consultant, ScanSafe, recently told E! News about the virus, saying, “Some parts of Paris Hilton’s website were infected with malware, a nasty bit of viruses and spyware that can try to access your computer and get bank records and credit card numbers.”

He then adds, “This is not the first time she’s [Paris] had these problems due to her high profile.” Hinting that because of our dear heiress’s Hollywood status (yeah she is famous!) it isn’t really impossible for her to be a target for cybercriminals.

Of course, with Paris and other celebrities, their websites sure have high traffic on their sites.

Fortunately, fans who are still worried on visiting the site need not worry anymore as Scott announces that the site is now completely safe.

Now that sure is a relief, right?! I wouldn’t want to infect my computer just because I wanted to get updated with the life and stuffs of Paris Hilton.

It looks like the burglary in Paris Hilton’s Mulholland Estates mansion last month is getting some progress now.

But nope, the thief hasn’t been caught yet. However, his identity may probably be known soon as LAPD investigators now believe that the robbery must’ve been done by someone who is familiar with the home’s layout and someone who knew how to access the socialite’s collection of rings, watches and necklaces.

While it was initially reported that Paris’s bedroom was ransacked, the security video showed the thief going into our dear heiress’s room easily while quickly finding her jewelry collection, which includes several family heirlooms. This strengthened the police’ belief since the jewels were actually in a place that was not accessible to someone simply searching the home.

The thief wore gloves and shielded his face in a hooded sweat shirt. There was no evidence of the thief entering or leaving the gated community nestled in the hills of Sherman Oaks, law enforcement sources said.

In her recent interview with E!, Paris already suggested that she knows her burglar.

“I think whoever did this, definitely has been [in my home] before. We have some suspects that I’m thinking of,” said our dear heiress during the interview.

And so with this, the police are now investigating a number of potential suspects based on the information gathered on the scene of crime and from our dear heiress’s testimonies.

Well I really hope the thief be caught now. It would surely be a good New Year ‘present’ for our dear heiress. As for the jewels being returned, I think this one would be of less possibility.

Okay, some aren’t really serious predictions, but nonetheless, knowing Paris, who knows?

With over $2million worth of jewels and personal belongings stolen at Paris Hilton’s home early Friday morning (December 19), our dear heiress couldn’t help but think that the burglary was an inside job.

“I think whoever did this, definitely has been there before,” Paris told E! News last Monday (December 22). “We have some suspects that I’m thinking of,” she added.

Recalling the incident, our dear heiress shared that she was afraid to enter her house already.

“Obviously it’s devastating and disturbing that someone was in my home,” she said.

Since Paris can no longer count on the protection of her ex-beau, Benji Madden, our dear heiress just made sure that the security in her house is heightened. “We have three security guards there and a 24-hour guard who is always on my property. We have the alarm on, the dogs we have, the guards with the gun, so, no one is going to be coming into my house,” tells our dear heiress.

And as for her message to her burglar, Paris has this to say:

“I would tell them to please return my things. They just have to anonymously have a taxi drop it off in my front gate in a box with my jewelry and everything they won’t get in trouble.”

Uhm… I hate to break this to Paris but what is it being called ‘robbery’ if the thief/thieves are just going to return those valuables just like that, right?! And have a taxi just drop it off your gate with your jewels and everything? What are they, nuts?!

After her breakup with Benji Madden last month, Paris Hilton has found herself in the headlines again after her home got robbed and ransacked last Friday (December 19).

According to police reports, the robber got past the “tight” security of our dear heiress’ gated community overlooking the San Fernando Valley about 5 a.m. and got away over $2 million worth of jewels.

An insider reveals that “millions of dollars of jewelry was stolen — diamonds, necklaces, rings, watches and family heirlooms from her grandmothers.”

“I am devastated. I cannot believe someone broke into my home. They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace,” tells Paris to Life & Style after the incident.

Well at least Paris wasn’t there when the burglary happened (she was out partying in L.A. that moment). And fortunately the thief was caught on tape, “Paris has surveillance cameras set up in every room. The thief was wearing a black hoody and knew exactly where to go, like he’s been there before,” says an insider who saw the tapes.

And to make sure this doesn’t happen again, “Paris has upped her security team to three 24-hour bodyguards, and she has someone on her property at all times. Detectives are doing a huge investigation,” adds the insider.

I guess this is one of those times where we can say partying can sometimes be a blessing in disguise. On the other hand, don’t you think the community’s team of security should also be blamed?

Glad Paris is okay though.

Fame and (enormous) wealth always come along when you get into Hollywood.

However, not everything glitters when you are a celebrity. Aside from not getting a private life anymore, stardom also subjects you to a lot of intrigues, rumors, and of course, false stories.

Take for example Paris Hilton. Although considered to be a very ‘public’ person, our dear heiress still complains of various fabricated stories about her.

One of these is the reported split of her and her manager for 10 years, Jason Moore due to a tension between her and Moore’s wife.

Reportedly, the manager’s wife threatened to divorce Moore because he was always gone with Paris.

This report was however denied by our dear heiress in an interview with Hollyscoop when she was in Las Vegas promoting her movie, “Repo! The Genetic Opera.”

“That’s just a rumor,” is all Paris said.

But then again, Moore just confirmed the story but denied the involvement of his wife saying, “There were a lot of reasons - both personal and professional - for the split, but nothing had anything to do with my marriage.”

So which statement is true?

Whether it is with a romantic or a business partner, parting never seems to be really that easy.

For Paris Hilton, parting may not be a new thing to her anymore as she’s been in and out into several relationships already, both in her personal and career life.

However, parting ways with someone she entrusts with her career and everything that goes with that for ten years may be quite hard.

Us Weekly magazine recently reported that our dear heiress and her manager for a decade, Jason Moore split up due to the tension between the latter’s wife and Paris.

“His new wife threatened to divorce him because he was always gone with Paris,” a source of the magazine reveals.

But then again, Moore insists that his wife has nothing to do with him parting ways with Paris, saying, “There were a lot of reasons - both personal and professional - for the split, but nothing had anything to do with my marriage.”

Well I guess it’s time to get moving now and for Paris to find herself a new manager, huh?!

Political campaign?! – No!

But because of that video spoof Paris Hilton did in response to the controversial ad of Republican presidential candidate John McCain, one would probably think that the photo above is already one of Paris’s ‘presidential’ campaigns.

Anyway, the photo above was actually taken during one of our dear heiress’s visit in the Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen, Denmark to campaign… err… promote her new collection of handbags at an international fashion house that opens Wednesday.

Surrounded by bodyguards and photographers trying to get a photo of her, Paris takes her time signing autographs and handing out photos of herself and handbags from her new range.

In a Danish television channel, Paris advised young people to be confident.

“That’s why my new handbag line is called ‘Confidence’. It’s important just to feel in that way and to know and believe in yourself and everything is possible.”

But really, will somebody ever admit they got ignored by someone as hot as Cristiano Ronaldo? I’m sure not our dear heiress, Paris Hilton.

So despite her very busy schedule, Paris shows that she’ll never be too busy to slam off ‘false reports’ about her. This morning, on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show, Paris once again called to clear reports about her getting flirty with the soccer hottie superstar only to be dissed.

Remember the post I had about Paris Hilton being snubbed by soccer superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo at a Hollywood nightclub last Wednesday? Here’s an update that would probably add insult to Paris’s already injured pride.

If our dear heiress is thinking Cristiano was not in the mood for some niceties due to his recent breakup to Spanish model, Nereida Gallardo, then I guess she’d be disappointed to hear that the Portugese star was recently seen spending a good chat with two bikini-clad girls by the pool at his luxury LA hotel.

When Paris Hilton went out with her boyfriend, Benji Madden with an alleged baby bump, everybody (at least for those who care) seems to have waited for a confirmation. However, the confirmation turned out to be another of Paris’s string of rumor denials.

After Paris’s dismissal, I thought the issue would just die with time. Or so I thought.

You read it right. If you think it’s quite odd that every now and then Paris Hilton just kept on denying issues thrown at her, then be prepared for another denial.

Like somebody totally fed up to rumors and controversies (as if she isn’t used to it), our dear heiress addresses another ‘false’ report that pertains to her moving in to Benji’s neighborhood.

“SO NOT TRUE!�? says Paris on her latest MySpace blog post answering the report made by Page Six. She further adds, “First of all, I don’t even live in Glendale. Secondly, I have my own home in a gated community in Beverly Hills–that’s where I live. I haven’t been to Glendale in months. Where do they come up with this?�?

Woooo… That obviously sounds like a pissed off Paris. However, I’m wondering, don’t you think it’s also odd how these kind of rumors come one after another?! Hmmm…. Do I smell a conspiracy here?!

Here’s the latest good news and bad news about our dear heiress, Paris Hilton.

Good news is that with Paris’s sweet smile and charming face (at least on photos of her), a new survey by Samsung cameras revealed that the socialite has been included in their Top 10 list of “Most Photogenic Celebrities.�?

The bad news? Well being on the 10th place, our dear heiress just barely made it.

It’s not that bad really, but knowing Paris’s reputation for being obsessed with herself, I doubt if she’d ever believe there are 9 more celebrities on top of her for being photogenic.

Anyway, topping the list for those “who almost never fails to put the right foot forward�? is Australian singer, Kylie Minogue. She was then followed by hunk actors George Clooney and Brad Pitt, respectively. Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and Elizabeth Hurley also made it to the top 5. The remaining five personalities were Madonna, Cheryl Cole, Robbie Williams, and Paris Hilton on the 10th spot.
