Paris Hilton is done with two Paris Hilton’s My New BFF seasons – each from the MTV and British version – and is on her way filming the second season of MTV’s and a Dubai version, that makes us all think, how many new best friend does she badly need?

While that’s quite hard to answer, let’s try to recall some of those friends that could probably be the ‘reason/s’ why Paris Hilton seems to be this desperate in finding a true best friend. Here are some of Paris’s so-called frenemies.

They’re friends now and they’re enemies the next. It seems like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan’s status have always remained to be in the ‘frienemies’ category.

Of course you hear them saying their friends, then you suddenly see them mud slinging with each other, then they’re friends again.

But for now, at least according to our dear heiress, she and LiLo are alright.

In her interview with UK’s Glamour magazine, Paris talked about her relationship with Lindsay as far as friendship is concern, saying, “We’re fine now. I think she’s really changed. I saw her a month ago and she was really sweet and seemed really happy and we’re all adults now. Actually I’ve just decided not to fight with anyone because it’s really not worth it.”

Awwww… That’s so sweet. I wonder what LiLo has to say.

Paris Hilton’s attendance at the Apple Lounge Grand Opening in California last week must’ve really been ‘productive’ (in terms of publicity) as she’s getting a lot of attention for a lot of things at the event.

First, people talked about that cleavage she had at the party, which was actually because of the push-up bra she wore. Then it was also reported that our dear heiress’s hair that time was also drawing attention as her hair extensions have seem to be very obvious. Now, I just found out that on that event, Paris also ended her feud with fellow socialite, Lindsay Lohan!

Well of course I know the issue is soooo 2006. But you know, Paris is Paris!

Ted Casablanca of E!Online Australia relates what happened at the event:

“Both baddie babes arrived around the same time for the opening of the West Hollywood club. P.H. came with her mostly blond entourage, while Lindsay’s pack consisted largely of gays, insisted several fruit-and-follicle witnesses.

And just when gyrating Lindsay and Paris were in danger of literally bumping into each other—both infamous femmes had, up until this moment, taken great pains to avoid speaking or looking at each other—Paris, like a bejeweled, overly coiffed gazelle, leapt across the dance floor to hug a shocked Lindsay, who limply hugged back.”

That said, I guess it’s time we move forward.

Well this sure wouldn’t surprise most of us. I mean you know, after all, there seems to be nothing more that Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan have to hide from the public. However, I guess it still has to take our dear heiress and La Lohan to bring the public’s attention.

In a recent post from Valleywag.com, it has been brought to attention that anyone with MySpace accounts is at risk to getting hacked.

I was tricked! I was tricked!

Lindsay Lohan probably has those words in mind when she hosted the Scandinavian Style Mansion in California.

A representative of the 21-year-old actress said that when La Lohan was asked to host the event, in replacement to Britney Spears, she was never told that our dear heiress, Paris Hilton is a part of the event. Had Lindsay been informed, she wouldn’t really have accepted the ‘job’.

I could imagine the shock in Linday’s face walking the red carpet and pose on a backdrop with an advertisement for Paris Hilton Handbags. Well I don’t think she actually had a photo taken with that backdrop though. Tough!

To recall, these Hollywood notorious personalities’ feud started late 2005 when Paris Hilton dated Stavros Niarchos III, ex-boyfriend of their mutual friend, Mary-Kate Olsen. It was reported that Lindsay was really appalled that Paris is dating their friend’s ex. From then, the two have been banging the media with their mud-slings.

Gosh, that was like ages ago, right?! And I thought they’re okay now?! Paris seems to be happy and content now with Good Charlotte guitarist, Benjie Madden and Lidsay’s looking like she’s heading to the right path already. Well if that’s not enough with La Lohan yet, she can always check those
online dating sites to help her find her match. She could start reading various tips and guide for online dating if she wants.

Well of course that‘s a bit of a desperate measure.

Going back, I guess Lindsay should’ve been prepared for instances like these. For party girls like her and Paris, Hollywood is a small world after all. Now that she’s coming up with her line of leggings, why don’t she throw herself a party and set up Paris Hilton to host it?

Tsk! Brats.

In my Celebrity Fashion Watch blog, I have this category called Versus where I try to do some sort of a comparison of various stars (either against another star or against themselves). Well I thought of bringing that concept here; Paris Hilton versus another celeb or versus herself. With our dear heiress as the queen of this blog, it would be a good twist of bringing another personality at least once in a while to challenge her place in this blog.

And since we are kicking off for this category today, I thought of making this Versus edition extra special by comparing Paris to someone of her caliber. – Socialite, famous, and controversial.

Nope, not Britney Spears. It’s Lindsay Lohan.

Well we’ve all seen Paris Hilton stripped off again for the cover of 944’s February edition. Clad with only her Calvin Klein panties and a chic hat, our dear heiress surely made a one hot, hot cover.

But with her well-known self-centered character, how would Paris rate her cover compared to La Lohan’s latest cover for New York Magazine?

Doing a re-make of 50’s sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe’s infamous photos known as “The Last Sitting,�? Lindsay was definitely a sight to behold.

Actually, I must admit Paris has just got beaten here. Comparing her cover with Lindsay, I think LiLo’s has more drama and glamour in it. I guess that’s because Lindsay’s looks less slutty than Paris’s. I mean there goes La Lohan in an almost-full-frontal nudity, but all I see there was art and sheer sexiness. Paris Hilton’s 944 cover on the other hand, has that suggestive hint, it spells so much of S-E-X.

Of course, THIS is my opinion. Care to share yours?

I’ve missed several days due to illness and, Paris being Paris, the news has piled up in the meantime! First, the big news is the trailer to Paris’ new movie, “Repo! The Genetic Opera,” which is featured above. I’m a big fan of horror movies, but I’m honestly not too sure about this one. I’ve never been a huge fan of Paris’ singing and, quite frankly, I’m rather embarrassed for Paul Sorvino, a great actor, who seems to be stuck in this mess! Watch and let me know what you think.

In other Paris news, our heiress was the most talked-about person in 2007, according to a survey by a Canadian communications company. “Socialite heiress Hilton came above the Queen as the personality with the most coverage in a survey of 632 million news items across 120 countries carried out by Influence Communications.” No big surprise here.

On the fashion scene, Paris is expected to attend Moscow Fashion Week. She is scheduled to appear at the show of Russian designer Kira Plastinina, who is only 14 years old! Apparently, the teen designer adores Paris, and told her father she wanted to have Paris herself visit the show. Paris is, reportedly, being paid two million dollars for her mere presence. We should all be so lucky!

Tomorrow, I’ll update you on the rest of the Paris news of the last few days. I wish I could say my life has been as exciting as hers but, due to some terrible flu bug, I’ve felt awful. It’s be interesting to see how Paris looked with the same type of bug I’ve had. Wonder if she’d still be in makeup and hair extenstions!

Donald Trump tells Extra! that he wants to sign Paris Hilton, along with celebrity train-wrecks Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan (who have been dubbed the “bimbo trio” by the New York Post) for the upcoming celebrity edition of The Apprentice. The original show was cancelled, but NBC renewed it for a Special Celebrity Edition, as a midseason replacement.

The show expects to sign, or has signed Carmen Electra and Joan Rivers. Trump would like to see the ratings bonanza that could, potentially, occur with Paris, Britney, and Lindsay. About signing the three, Trump said, “Right now, they’re in various stages of stress. I’ve always known Britney, I know Lindsay, I know Paris, there are talks going on. We’ll see what happens.�?

Oh, how I’d love to host that show-just to be able to tell the three of them “You’re fired!”

Paris’ fellow party girl, Lindsay Lohan, may be facing jail time of her own. On Tuesday, Lohan was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of cocaine, and several other charges. All this happened when the mother of an assistant of Lindsay’s (who had quit her job with Lindsay several hours earlier) phoned police to report that Lohan was chasing their vehicle! Now, Lindsay could be facing serious jail time if she’s convicted of any of the new charges against her. Just when it looked as though her long stay in rehab might actually have helped! Man, keeping up with Paris is certainly difficult!

Not only do you gotta watch the clothes you wear, the parties you attend, and the clubs you hang out at-now you gotta go to jail just like she did!

Scott Collins, of the LA Times shares his take on Paris’ interview with Larry King

Paris Hilton says she doesn’t have a drinking problem, has never taken drugs and doesn’t believe she deserved to be behind bars.

“I think the crime did not fit the punishment,” the hotel heiress told CNN’s Larry King in a taped interview that aired Wednesday night.

Hilton, whose life has become a virtual pop opera, began a quest for image rehabilitation barely 24 hours after she was released from jail in Los Angeles. She had served three weeks for driving on a suspended license following an earlier DUI offense.

ABC and NBC reportedly squared off for bidding rights to her first post-jail interview, but the networks seemed to lose interest after the monetary deal-making became public. That resulted in a promotional windfall for CNN’s “Larry King Live,” which apparently did not have to pay for the sit-down. The network’s strenuous promotion included a countdown clock that ran on “Paula Zahn Now,” the lead-in to King’s show, as well as a lengthy panel postmortem about Hilton on “Anderson Cooper 360.”

On King’s program, the 26-year-old Hilton appeared serious and guarded, speaking in a tone much lower than the breathy, baby-doll register familiar to viewers of her show “The Simple Life.” When King asked what she would like to change about herself, she said she was bothered that her voice became too high-pitched when she was nervous.

Asked why she was doing the interview, Hilton was initially flattered, calling King an “icon.” When pressed, however, she said, “I want to let people know what I went through,” adding that her three-week jail stint was “a really traumatic experience.”

She called jail food “horrible” and dubbed her strip-search “the most humiliating experience of my life.”

She was particularly distressed at not being able to hug her father on Father’s Day and confirmed reports that the mystery illness she suffered in jail — which led to an early release that a judge later reversed — was panic attacks brought on by claustrophobia.

She read King journal entries she had written behind bars that spoke of her confinement as “a turning point.”

But on crucial points, the interview was less than revealing. A spokesperson for the Hilton family has denied that they sought money for a network interview, and King did not press her about this discrepancy. She seemed caught off-guard when asked how she was able to conquer her claustrophobia after she was returned to jail (she meditated and read, she said).

Hilton was vague when asked about fellow party girls Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, saying that some celebrities are “given too much too soon.”

And when King suggested that Hilton could have squelched some of the stories she claims are baseless rumors by denouncing them earlier, the heiress seemed nonplused.

“People make up crazy stories,” she said.

The Bosh, along with lots of other tabloids and news outlets, is reporting on Nicole Richie’s talk with David Letterman. Seems Nicole is worried about following her friend/partner-in-crime, Paris, to jail! And, with all the hoopla and legal wrangling over Paris’ release and possible return, she just might see that fear realized!

And, facing charges of driving under the influence, Paris and Nicole’s fellow party gal, Lindsay Lohan, may have something to worry about as well. Maybe the world is finally tired of seeing these young celebrities run amuck!
