Paris Hilton Watch

I’ve missed several days due to illness and, Paris being Paris, the news has piled up in the meantime! First, the big news is the trailer to Paris’ new movie, “Repo! The Genetic Opera,” which is featured above. I’m a big fan of horror movies, but I’m honestly not too sure about this one. I’ve never been a huge fan of Paris’ singing and, quite frankly, I’m rather embarrassed for Paul Sorvino, a great actor, who seems to be stuck in this mess! Watch and let me know what you think.

In other Paris news, our heiress was the most talked-about person in 2007, according to a survey by a Canadian communications company. “Socialite heiress Hilton came above the Queen as the personality with the most coverage in a survey of 632 million news items across 120 countries carried out by Influence Communications.” No big surprise here.

On the fashion scene, Paris is expected to attend Moscow Fashion Week. She is scheduled to appear at the show of Russian designer Kira Plastinina, who is only 14 years old! Apparently, the teen designer adores Paris, and told her father she wanted to have Paris herself visit the show. Paris is, reportedly, being paid two million dollars for her mere presence. We should all be so lucky!

Tomorrow, I’ll update you on the rest of the Paris news of the last few days. I wish I could say my life has been as exciting as hers but, due to some terrible flu bug, I’ve felt awful. It’s be interesting to see how Paris looked with the same type of bug I’ve had. Wonder if she’d still be in makeup and hair extenstions!

The word on SF Gate is that Paris has donated lots of her clothing and shoes to children’s charities.
Hilton reveals, “I have, like, a million clothes and more than 500 pairs of shoes, so I’m going to give a bunch of them to orphanages and children’s hospitals. I never wear something twice.”

I guess the kids can use them for dress-up. Halloween is coming up. I’m sure some of the kids would really like to be street-walkers!

Seriously, I’m sure the clothes will probably be auctioned but, seeing that this is Paris, couldn’t she have just donated the money? It’s not like she can’t afford it! Is this her idea of philanthropy?

Paris showed up at the post-Emmy party thrown by DirectTV, according to Marc Malkin over at E!Online. What do you think of the dress she’s wearing? Pretty colors, but I’m not too crazy about the design. Also at the party were Mel B (Scary Spice) and Evan Handler.

Paris recently spent a day out shopping for “frenemy” Nicole Richie’s unborn baby, Entertainment Tonight reports. The socialite shopped at hotspot Intuition, where she picked up a dozen bags of items, including a black rhinestone baby t-shirt reading “Don’t Ya Wish Your Mommy Was Hot Like Mine?” She also bought matching black pants and black leather baby shoes to go with the shirt.

On the impending arrival of Nicole and Joel Madden’s baby, Paris said, “I am very excited for her new baby.”
The twelve bags of stuff she bought filled Paris’ Bentley to the brim!

Paris unveiled her new fashions on Thursday at Kitson’s, a trendy LA boutique known for its celebrity clientele. A lane of traffic was closed, and police and city workers were called in to help handle the crowd! Paris described her clothing line as “really comfortable” and “really affordable,” and said she spent a year submitting and approving designs.

She had the following to say about the unveiling:

“It’s a dream come true to have my own clothing line. It’s just Paris style: fun, bright and flashy. It’s just from my closet to their closets.”

Surprisingly, the pieces are more affordable than what Paris can afford to pay for clothing herself! I don’t know if very many of them are my style, though! Click below to see pictures of some of the “Paris Hilton” line, and let me know what you think.

Paris never went to prom so she decided to dress as if she was going to one when she attended a friend’s benefit at the Beverly Hills Hilton.

Just Kidding! She actually looked very elegant wearing a black and white gown with her hair in a bun. The glam squad was at her house helping her get ready before heading to the benefit.

See she is keeping her word and doing good. First she visited the hospital and now she’s attending benefits. Baby steps right?

There’s baby steps and then there’s barely crawling! Going to benefits can hardly be considered charity work. Now, if you planned the benefit or hosted the benefit-maybe! This is the same old thing Paris has done for most of her life-get dolled up, go out, and show herself off. I want to see some real charity work from Ms. Hilton!

Have you ever noticed how often Paris Hilton wears a head band?

I think the lyrics say “Put ya stunna shades on, put ya stunna shades on”. And that just what Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie were doing last night. Paris Hilton’s on-again, off-again best gal pal Nicole Ritchie hosted the Armani Sunglass Launch last night at a private residence in LA. So those hot new stunner shades by Armani were all over the faces of the girl brat pack.

Thanks to makeup the wonders of makeup artistry, Nicole looked wonderful, even though her tiny dress was still draping off of her feed-me-a-big-mac frame. But what the heck was Paris wearing? Looks like she just left the boudoir in that little number.

Directives West and Paris Hilton Sportswear Fall 2007 Fashion Show was held yesterday in Los Angeles. Golden girl Paris took the runway in summer white slacks accented with a gold top. Paris looked pretty darn cute with her to-the-side pony tail.
