Paris Hilton Watch

As expected Paris Hilton would never miss an event to be rubbing elbows with Hollywood stars and so last Sunday (May 31), our dear heiress walked hand-in-hand with her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

So today, let’s go check out Paris’s look at the event from head-to-toe.

Hair

Offering a classic take on 1940’s star Veronica Lake’s golden curls, Paris has obviously made sure her hair would be anything but usual at the event. With the heiress’ changing ‘dos, you ever wonder which one’s the natural one? Anyway, the hair’s actually a so-so for me; we know Paris could do better than this.

Make-up

While I’m not really crazy over her hair, Paris Hilton’s make-up is something I’d say I love. The black liner and light gold shadow with a hint of purple liner under her eyes is subtle enough anybody can’t help adoring it. Matching it with sparkly bronzer and nude lips is a good move for the socialite heiress.

Dress

I am one sucker for peach frocks so I’d be bias here. This strapless peach cocktail dress may not be as stunning and as glamorous like some stars at the event but it nonetheless is a star of its own.

Accessories

With her frock already having a metallic embellishment, Paris has learned to go subtle on her accessories. Having a glittering silver purse to complete her look, she sure has achieved that sophisticated look.

Shoes

Despite the so-so ‘do and the so-so frock I still can’t find a reason to be wowed by this look. Now I know why, the shoes are so out.

Sometimes, people just have to give the difference of needs from wants and desires. For Paris Hilton, using designer shoes may be part of her wants but more importantly, it is something she needs because of her enormous shoe size.

Laura Meakin, one of Paris’s British BFF wanna-be’s shares what our dear heiress told her. “She told me she could only wear Christian Louboutin or Gucci shoes because she’s a UK size 8 or 9 and they are the only shoes which don’t make her feet look absolutely massive,” she told the Daily Mirror.

Meaken also adds how thoughtful and generous Paris was while shooting the show.

“Before one night out we were all gathered in her hotel suite and one of the girls said she’d forgotten her deodorant. Paris simply turned round and told her she could borrow hers, which I thought showed she can behave just like an ordinary girl.”

Now don’t they all say that just to please Paris?

Always the celebrity who knows how to outshine the others with her well-thought fashion looks, Paris Hilton hit the red carpet at the 35th People’s Choice Awards.

Wearing a flower-bedecked Jenny Packham frock and long ringlets, our dear heiress definitely sparkled with elegance. And with the low-cut dress, Paris has indeed proved that she is happy and proud with her flat chest.

In her recent interview with British Glamour magazine, Paris shared her thoughts on getting breast implants, saying, “I’m really scared of needles, plus I like looking natural and flat chested. When I was younger I was obsessed with wearing padded bras and stuff, but as I get older I realise that I like myself the way I am.”

Well of course we know she still wear padded bras in several occasions.

After a shopping spree trip to Australia, our dear heiress is back! She was spotted back in Los Angeles the other day while doing some errands, looking refreshed. Well, that’s what shopping usually does to her.

Paris and her current BFF, Brittany Flickinger, arrived earlier that day at LAX International Airport. Despite the expected jet lag, the millionaire heiress seemed upbeat in a funky zebra t-shirt and a pair of her trademark sunglasses, as she waltzed through the terminal.

Later that day, the “Hottie and Nottie” star went to Kate Somerville Skin Health Experts Clinic in Melrose, sporting a smile for the ever-present paparazzi that were following her around. Awww, I guess they missed her too, huh? Maybe the smile meant that she missed the press, even if they are the dreaded (and often, annoying to the stars) US paparazzi, since the Australian media men didn’t quite cozy up to her and instead did a number on her spending spree.

And boy, she doesn’t waste any time to go out and strut to the nearest red carpet. Today, January 7, our dear heiress was spotted as she arrived for the 2009 People’s Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles. Clad in her usual look of glossy pink lips, ample mascara, and wavy locks, she topped these off with a feminine, low-cut dress, adorned with floral appliqués. She then paired this up with metallic pumps and a Fendi purse.

Oh well, with Paris back in town, expect for “interesting” things to happen.

Obviously recovered from the recent burglary of over $2 million worth of jewels in her home last Friday (December 19), Paris Hilton enjoyed a late night meal at Dan Tana’s in West Hollywood on Saturday (December 20).

Accompanied by her bff [best friend forever], Brittany Flickinger, our dear heiress was looking great clad in a Pocahontas-inspired look with a sparkly headband and flowing brown dress.

But while I love the unique look that Paris had, I think it was her glowing and vibrant skin that actually captured my attention. I just couldn’t help but notice Paris’ beautiful and radiant skin. It makes me wonder, does she use natural skin care products to get and maintain that super noticeable skin?

As a fashion icon (at least according to some), Paris Hilton is often perceived to be very very vain.

But while that proves true in our dear heiress’ looks and fashion styles, Paris admits that her being self-conscious does not include considering to get a plastic surgery. Furthermore, Paris believes that getting a plastic surgery would just make one look older.

“I love being all-natural. A lot of girls who are 21, they have a lot of work done and they look 40. It ages you. And you’re going to have to maintain it,” Contactmusic quotes Paris saying.

Paris adds, “By the time you’re 30, you’re going to look like you’re 50. By the time you’re 50, your face is going to fall off.”

Prior to this, Paris also admitted that she is scared with needles, knives, and blood, too. So a plastic surgery is really out of the question.

While browsing over the Internet looking for something interesting that I could post today, I literally stumbled upon this post of Usmagazine.com featuring Paris Hilton in a quite trashy pose.

Entitled CITIZEN’S ARREST: Write a Fashion Police Comment for Paris Hilton, the post asks readers to throw in a comment pertaining to this particular photo of Paris. And reading through the comments made, I just couldn’t help myself but laugh at how some are very passionate slamming Paris.

Here are just some of those comments:

“Are those mirrors on your pants? Because I can totally see my self in… no nope hold on I can’t bring myself to say it.. However those pants make my but look big :)” – Shelly Shell

Stars having worn the same frock once can be a coincidence. But the same stars wearing another same dress the second time around… Odd!

And odd it seems for Halle Berry and Paris Hilton, who, for the second time around are wearing another identical frock after their ‘fashion battle’ over a comfy white spaghetti-strapped dress.

Yes, another face off for these Hollywood goddesses. This time Halle and Paris share the limelight for this floral-printed blue Hale Bob maxi dress. The first wearing it while lunching in L.A. while the latter flaunting it in an art gallery with her sister, Nicky.

Paris Hilton, Halle Berry, celebrity fashion, dressed alike, maxi dress

Not to make any intrigue to the sweet sibling relationship between Paris and Nicky Hilton, but just for this post, let’s try to do a little comparison of the sisters’ looks during the opening party of the Pop Factory in Los Angeles. Who among them do you think dressed better?

Is it our dear heiress Paris Hilton in her flower-printed blue maxi dress and pumps or younger sister, Nicky in her minis?

On Paris, of course the floral prints did give her that feminine and sweet look. However, don’t you think she’s got too much of maxi-dresses already?! It seems like this style has become her official look whenever she’s with Nicky.

On the other hand, Nicky’s minis actually gave the people a glimpse of her already-filled legs. Guess there’s no reason for people to worry about her super skinny figure anymore.

It was once reported that our dear heiress, Paris Hilton is trying to be like her best friend Nicole Richie; she’s dating the twin brother of Nicole’s partner, she announced her plan to have a baby next year, and she’s currently sporting on a skinny figure. But of course Paris as Paris will always insist of her being original.

Original?! If that is true, then what is she doing wearing the same white dress that Halle Berry wore few months ago?! A copycat of the Cat Woman, huh?!
