Finally, Paris Hilton has once and for all given her confirmation with regards to her breakup with Benji Madden, her boyfriend for nine months.
On an exclusive interview with Ryan Seacrest, our dear heiress confirmed through the host’s morning show, “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” that she and Benj have indeed called it quits.
Although there hasn’t really been any official statement from either Paris Hilton or Benji Madden regarding their breakup, I guess it would still be good if we all take a look back at the relationship most people thought would end in the altar.
The start of a blossoming relationship…
Our dear heiress and the Good Charlotte guitarist started seeing each other in a romantic kind of way late February this year after Paris’ BFF, Nicole Richie gave birth to Harlow (Nicole’s partner, Joel Madden is Benj’s twin brother).
In a previous interview with Paris, our dear heiress admitted that she and Benj started dating even before the latter was still engaged to be married to Australian model, Sophie Monk.
Nine months after confirming they are seeing each other in a romantic way; after all the gushing and the declaration of ‘true love’, reports have it that Paris Hilton and Benji Madden have called it quits.
- To clear rumors and to express his undying love for Paris.
Well on one of my previous posts, I posted about Benji Madden’s interview with Life and Style wherein he slams rumors of him being seen in a nightclub with another girl and expresses his love for Paris.
And now, like a reiteration of the interview, the Good Charlotte guitarist does another interview, this time with People, sharing about his relationship with Paris.
If Paris Hilton faces rumors of her getting flirty with Prince William at a London club last week, her boyfriend for eight months, Benji Madden was also rumored to be unfaithful to our dear heiress.
And so in an interview with Life & Style, the Good Charlotte guitarist defends himself against those rumors on which he says are “hurtful, completely false, and absurd.”
Benji shares, “Paris is my life, my heart and my soul.
That said, I guess Benji now hopes that people would no longer question his feelings for Paris.
Question is, does Paris have the same intense feelings for Benj? Well I guess so…
For several days now, Paris Hilton has been hitting in the news and blogs linking her to a potential romance with Prince William; it was reported that the two have been flirtatious with each other at a London club last week.
And so, to prove wrong those rumors, our dear heiress called Ryan Seacrest’s radio show in Los Angeles yesterday morning.
In the radio show, our dear heiress addressed British tabloid reports she has been caught flirting with not just Prince William but with Prince Harry as well at the London club.
Paris tells Ryan that while it is true that she met the princes, there is nothing to the rumors; and she’s not texting love notes to either of them.
She shares, “They’re very nice boys, very down to earth and sweet but there’s nothing romantic going on at all. They just came up and said hello. There’s no texting going on; I’m reading that I invited them to Las Vegas to a club - that never happened.”
“I have a boyfriend, it’s an eight month anniversary today. I would never say that in a million years and it just annoys me that particularly the media out in the UK, they will not only make up stories, they’ll also go as far to make up quotes that I supposedly said,” Paris adds.
“William was really nice… Harry was with his girlfriend, Chelsea, who was so stunning, beautiful and sweet… They were just very friendly, they weren’t flirting at all.”
And for the sake of her boyfriend, Benji Madden, Paris further shares, “I’m taken, I don’t put it out that I’m single. Before, I wasn’t in love… I would never hurt him (Madden).”
Awwww…. Ain’t that sweet?!
Since Paris Hilton started dating Good Charlotte guitarist, Benji Madden early this year, it seems like the life of our dear heiress has never been the same.
Well there was Paris getting excited to have a baby with the musician soon, then there was her admitting how Benji made her feel mature, and then there was her sharing she loves to cook for her boyfriend for seven months!
Paris?! Cooking?!
Well yup!
Appearing at in an The Ellen DeGeneres Show which airs today, our dear heiress reveals how domesticated she has been with Benji, saying, “[Benji Madden and I] watch movies and I cook really big dinners for him.”
“I’m an amazing cook!” adds Paris who boasted of her specialty in Italian food.
‘Guess this is just one proof of how a good influence Benji has been to Paris, right?!
“First you say you won’t, then you say you will. You keep me hanging on, and we’re not moving on.”
Now today’s post is not about Click Five’s Jenny. But somehow that particular line of the song fits perfectly to Paris Hilton whose baby plan has somehow just become a matter of for-the-sake-of-having-something-to-talk-about.
Well last May, our dear heiress was too ecstatic to announce her desire to have a baby early next year (with of course her boyfriend, Benji Madden).
However, due to her super hectic schedule brought by her product endorsements here and there plus the launching of her latest TV series late last month, Paris admitted having a hard time giving time for that 2009 baby plan.
Yet just last Saturday (October 4), attending the birthday bash of her little sister, Nicky, Paris shares to People that she sure is looking forward to having a baby saying, “I definitely want three or four [children] soon.”
Yawn! I wonder when Paris will ever get tired talking about her baby plans that has obviously become some passé already.
With Paris Hilton’ socialite and care-free image, who would’ve pictured her to be domesticated?
Well I guess there is just nothing a woman in-love wouldn’t do for the one she loves. Awww…
Anyway, before we get all too mushy here, the reason I was talking about Paris Hilton getting domesticated is because a pal of Paris shares to Star about how our dear heiress recently insisted on redecorating Benji’s gothic Glendale, California mansion.
Tells the source, “Benji has this fascination with vampires, and has this gothic memorabilia throughout his house. He thinks it’s very artistic, but Paris doesn’t like it. It scared her.”
With this, our dear heiress was said to have decided to replace the faux vampires with fresh vases of flowers and gave the bachelor pad a complete makeover.
Too bad things didn’t go her way. The source says, “She wanted to surprise Benji-and she sure did! He was mortified!”
And so Benji had Paris change everything back.
When Paris Hilton announced earlier this year her desire to have a baby in 2009 with of course her boyfriend, Benji Madden, everybody really thought that it wouldn’t be long that our dear heiress will already get pregnant.
Well there are various factors for that presumption. First, Paris may be getting envious to the new as a mother of her pal, Nicole Ritchie. It could also be that she’s seems too in-love with Benji or she just so wanted the attention that a pregnancy may bring.
However, it seems like our dear heiress’s baby plan will have to wait for a while.
Attending the 90210 Nylon party last Thursday (September 4), Paris chatted with top Los Angeles-based showbiz website Hollyscoop to clarify issues with regards to her baby plan.
Paris said, “You know right now I’m just focusing on my business. A lot of traveling around the world. There’s no time for a baby right now.”
She further adds, “I would love to one day, but for right now it wouldn’t be right to have a kid because I don’t have the time. My schedule is so crazy, I am going to London next month for a couple of weeks to do my BFF show in London, so I have a lot of work cut out for me.”
Hmmm… should we all be glad that Paris seems to have changed her mind about having a baby? Well I guess so. I mean we should give it to Paris you know, it takes some kind of maturity (at least on her level) to realize she can’t be a mom yet with her hectic schedule.
When Paris Hilton started seeing Benji Madden February this year, the first thing that I thought was when this so-called ‘love’ is going to end. Of course knowing Paris’ notoriety when it comes to relationships, you can’t blame people to get cynical.
However, to prove people wrong, the two’s already hitting their seventh monthsary and still going stronger. In fact, the couple is doing a record together with which our dear heiress describes as “happy and fun” duets.
“The songs are just being mixed right now and should be done soon. I’ve got a recording studio at my house in Los Angeles and so we’ve been working there every night. It’s been fun. Our songs are just happy and fun dance music. It reflects what Benji and I are like together — happy and fun,” says Paris in an interview.
I just hope this thing lasts longer, Paris. ***Smiles***
While I didn’t really believe those rumors pertaining to Paris Hilton and Benji Madden’s break-up, it’s still good to hear a statement from our dear heiress clarifying the issue.
In an interview with People during the launch of her hair extension line, “Bandit,” Paris clears those rumors saying, “People always make things up. We’ve never fought in our lives and we get along better than any other couple I know.”
As for them celebrating their sixth month apart, Paris only has this to say, “His tour will finally be over so it will be nice just to be alone and together off the tour bus.”
“I’ll cook him a nice dinner and stay inside and watch TV. I make the best lasagna,” Paris promises.
Awww… ain’t that really sweet?!
Since I was ‘absent’ in Parisville for quite some time, I was actually shocked to read a report from Rumor Mill that Paris Hilton and her boyfriend for five months, Benji Madden have already split up.
In the article, it was said that “Benji says he’s seen through Paris, that she’s out for publicity and will use anyone to get it. He knows he should never have left Sophie and he wants her back.”
I would’ve been sad with this news if I hadn’t seen this recent photo of the couple looking happy and still in-love with each other.
People.com has it on the caption that our dear heiress had the Good Charlotte guitarist as her escort in John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to catch a flight back to Los Angeles.
Well I am not really expecting these two are going to stay forever (nothing’s forever, remember?!) but I don’t think the couple will break up this early…
Action sure speaks louder than words. And so to show that she is indeed so in-love with her boyfriend that she won’t look at other guys, Paris Hilton recently went out in public hand-in-hand with Benji Madden.
Oh, Paris Hilton just can’t stop gushing about her boyfriend, Benji Madden.
First she was telling people about him being her best friend; a loving, supportive, and caring boyfriend. Now, our dear heiress claims she’s already feeling like a grown up because of Benji and their more low-key lifestyle.
