Not because our dear heiress Paris Hilton is now seeing another guy through The Hills star, Doug Reinhardt would give Benji Madden a reason to also find himself a new girl now.

Despite being spotted with Katy Perry last Valentine’s Day, the Good Charlotte guitarist insists that there is nothing more than friendship between him and the I Kissed a Girl singer.

As quoted by Fox News in his interview with Australia’s 2Day FM radio, Benj dismisses romance rumors of him and Katy saying, “No, it’s not true, we’re friends. She’s beautiful.” He then adds, “When you’re friends with someone, you don’t want to ever compromise a friendship.”

Katy Perry earlier shrugs off rumors, too linking her to the kind-hearted and loving rocker.

Actually I used to really think Benj is the best man for Paris. But since our dear heiress is dating a new man now, I think Benji, too ought to get someone that’s way way better than Paris.

Remember the previous posts I had about Katy Perry and Benji Madden supposedly spending the Valentine’s together?

Well although the I Kissed a Girl singer already denied rumors romantically linking her to the Good Charlotte guitarist, this still didn’t seem to stop Benji’s ex, Paris Hilton from panicking and be ‘desperate’ to win back her ex.

One of our dear heiress’s pals told MusicNews how hurt Paris was upon hearing the reports, saying, “Paris still has very strong feelings for Benji and seeing those pictures has really hurt her - especially as they were taken so close to her birthday. She is determined to get Benji back and she is not going to let anyone or anything stand in her way.”

Hmmm… I actually do hope Paris succeeds in winning Benj back for I really think the rocker is so special many girls would definitely take Paris’s place.

With reports saying that Paris Hilton’s ex, Benji Madden and Katy Perry spotted getting cozy spending the Valentine’s together, one name has to stand out to clear out these rumors. And that is of course the “I Kissed a Girl” singer.

Laughing off the reports that she’s getting romantic with Benj, Katy insists that she and the Good Charlotte guitarist are just “good friends”.

In her blog, the award-winning singer writes, “Oh kittens! Its two pseudo famous people sitting next to each other doesn’t mean we were bumping uglies! You know I don’t just do that with anyone! That’s just how the media works, as you can tell. I was there celebrating a really fun show and a boozy valentines with all my good friends. We were like a group of 25! Benji is a nice young fellow, but my heart really belongs to kitty purry/markus molinari.”

What a relief there huh, Paris?!

If Paris Hilton’s name have been linked to various male personalities in Hollywood every now and then right after her break up with Benji Madden, the latter too has had his own share of celebrity hookups (although most of them denied) after the split.

From the rumored date with Britney Spears to the reported relationship with Audrina Patridge (all has been said to be false), the Good Charlotte guitarist is now being rumored to be getting cozy with Katy Perry who recently just came out from a relationship, too.

Reports have it that both Benj and Katy “spent their Valentine’s Day in Las Vegas getting hot and heavy”. Hanging out together at LAVO following Perry’s concert, many onlookers said that the two have been “cuddling throughout the night”. And of course we know that friends don’t really cuddle, right?!

Well just a thought… how do you think Paris would react to this?

On the last post, we’ve reminisced about how Paris Hilton’s and Benji Madden’s relationship blossomed. We’ve backtracked on how the two became inseparable and professed their ‘undying’ love for each other.

This time, let’s go back and see how things went wrong.

From good to bad…

What seemed to be a perfect relationship suddenly turned bad when reports of their breakup came in late November.

Some said this was due to Benji being too controlling, some reports it was because of Paris getting too cozy with her ex, Stavros Niarchos while in Miami.

Not dating…

Despite the breakup, Paris Hilton admitted that she’s still in-love with Benj and that the two of them are still good friends.

“You know, I love him. He’s such an amazing man and he’s my best friend and he’s been so great to me and so loyal,” our dear heiress once told People after their split.

So as for finding someone new, Paris was once quoted by The Sun saying, “I don’t have dating on my mind at all. Just the thought of dating someone else grosses me out. No way.”

Now…

For now, Paris seems to be enjoying being single; she’s been dating here and there (although she said she isn’t). After her breakup with Benj, the “Stars are Blind” singer was linked to Gerard Butler, George Clooney, and even to MySpace founder, Chris DeWolfe; although she denied having relationships to any of them.

And Benji seems coping up and doing fine after the breakup.

They’ve separated for more than three months already, but for this very special day of hearts, let’s go bring back the love that Paris Hilton and Benji Madden once had for each other.

It all started…

When Paris Hilton’s BFF, Nicole Richie gave birth to her first daughter, Harlow Winter Kate with Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden who is the twin brother of Benji.

Benji at that time just called off his engagement with Australian girlfriend, Sophie Monk, and Paris was…well.. single that time.

In late February last year, a source close to the couple confirms that the two are now couple after they were spotted holding hands strolling around L.A., “Yes, they are dating. It’s pretty serious.”

Inseparable…

After confirming their relationship, it had been apparent that our dear heiress and the Good Charlotte guitarist had become inseparable from each other. And as if to prove to everyone they were really serious with each other, Paris and Benj both wore rings with each other’s initials – BM on Paris and PH on Benj. And wherever one went (Benji on his tours; and Paris on her promotions) expect the other one to be there.

That is how ‘close’ they’ve become

On thinking about starting a family…

From the onset of their relationship, Paris has once said she’d want Benji to be the father of her future children and vice versa.

“I’ve never been so happy. Nothing worries me in life anymore. When you find that best friend, that love, all your worries kind of go away. Your work gets better and everything you do, you have someone supporting you, and she’s that for me. I’ve never been supported so much,” told Benji in one of his interviews.

Well that is what NY Daily News reports.

According to the paper, both Paris and Benji have already moved on with their lives apart and have found each other new partners through The Hills stars Doug Reinhardt and Audrina Patridge, respectively.

NY Daily News further adds that Benj has apparently “upped his friendship with Audrina Patridge to ‘relationship’ status in the last two weeks.”

But is there any truth to this?

Well Audrina personally clears the rumor by posting a blog on her official website. And here’s what she said:

“I’m getting a lot of calls today about a story that ran in a New York paper saying that I am now in a “romantic” relationship with Benji Madden.

Two months after her breakup with Benji Madden, Paris Hilton is still all praises with her ex-boyfriend.

In her recent interview, our dear heiress has nothing but kind words for the Good Charlotte guitarist.

She says, “My relationship made me take a good look at myself. I have never been treated so well in my life or trusted anyone like this. Benji’s a very special person.”

“There is no one like him. I love him. He just really made me grow up and look at things more maturely during the time we were together.”

Obviously, Paris still is in-love with Benji Madden and is apparently trying to win him back. But does this also mean that Benji’s the one who broke up with her?!

The two would’ve hit their first year anniversary next month hadn’t things gone wrong.

While it has been reported that Paris Hilton may have found a new boy toy boy pal in Gerard Butler, her ex beau on the other hand may also have moved on and also found a potential girlfriend. – And that is Britney Spears?

Well a source tells In Touch Weekly magazine that Benj and the Pop Princess shared a dinner at a Los Angeles hotel and have been seeing each other since then. “They’ve been on a few dates. She appears to like Benji a lot, and he seems to really like her,” adds the source.

Update: Unfortunately (or fortunately), Britney Spears’ publicist was fast enough to clear the report telling E! news, “The claims made by In Touch are completely false. There is not an ounce of truth to any of it.”

If we may recall, Britney has also been known to be Paris’ once BFF. So I wonder how our dear heiress would react to this.

She tells us, her mom says so, too. Now we can all really believe that Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, despite their breakup, are still good friends.

Last night, at the opening of D&G store Robertson Blvd., our dear heiress was spotted with her ex beau.

But have they really reconciled?

Well Paris tells Hollyscoop.com that she and Benji are “just like really close friends” so there’s no reconciliation there. She also adds that she’s single and “enjoying it”.

Of course Paris is enjoying her being single; she can date, flirt, and get cozy with whoever she wants. That is inspite of her saying she has no plans of seeing someone new.

Just the other night, our dear heiress was spotted getting cozy with 300 hottie, Gerard Butler.

How’s that, huh?!

When it comes to men, the typical Paris Hilton would probably flirt, date, break it up, and flirt, date, and breakup again.

But I guess our dear heiress has really matured now when it comes to love and men.

After breaking up with her boyfriend for nine months, Benji Madden middle of November, everybody (including me) thought it won’t be long and Paris will be seen dating and making out with other men already.

But although she’s already been approached by plenty of bachelors after the split, Paris stood still that she ain’t getting a new man (yet) to replace Benji.

The Sun quotes our dear heiress saying, “I don’t have dating on my mind at all. Just the thought of dating someone else grosses me out. No way.”

They say that when one loves, the feelings of uncertainties and doubts also go with it; one is scared and one is unsure because of love.

If this is true, then I guess Paris Hilton may have really been struck with true love after all (or is it…).

Well after our dear heiress revealed that she is “still in love” with Benji Madden in Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show, a source now tells that Paris just wants to test if her feeling for the Good Charlotte guitarist is really strong.

“Paris wants to know if she absolutely can’t stand to be apart from him. That’s her test to make sure this is the guy for her. She has felt something she has never felt before with anyone with Benji, but needs to be 100 per cent certain she is ready to be Mrs. Madden,” reveals the source.

Well after that ‘chasing’ incident last Saturday, ‘guess Paris knew the answer by now. Hope it’s not too late though.

While her fiancé, Joel Madden believes that his twin brother, Benji is coping up well after the latter’s breakup with Paris Hilton, not the same can be said for Nicole Richie who seems to still believe there is still hope for reconciliation between her BFF and her future brother-in-law.

Reportedly, the new mom and our dear heiress’ best pal has been preventing the Good Charlotte guitarist from moving on and meeting potential new girlfriends.

In a recent launch party for Good Charlotte’s new “Greatest Remixes” album, a source tells New York Post’s PageSix that Nicole “has been really possessive and stops him from talking to other girls. Benji was approached by dozens of ladies. Girls were trying to flirt with him… but Nicole kept getting in the way.”

“(Richie) stopped every girl trying to take a photo of him (and) dragged him by the arm (away from the girls),” the source added.

Well after that ‘chasing’ incident between Paris and Benj, Nicole seems to have all the reasons to hope for reconciliation.

While it was Paris Hilton herself who confirmed her breakup with Benji Madden on Ryan Seacrest’s morning show, it looks like our dear heiress, too is the one who’s doing the efforts now to win Benj back.

Reports have it that Paris chased her former boyfriend across Los Angeles on Saturday night (November 23) attempting to reconcile with the Good Charlotte guitarist.

Since her text messages for Benj were left unanswered, rumors have it that our dear heiress opted to confront the latter at the Villa nightclub last Saturday and even took with her pop star, Avril Lavigne for support.

Unfortunately for our dear heiress though, when Benji Madden reportedly heard of Paris’ presence in the place, he ran out of the club and was said to have ranted, “Can’t I have a night out in peace?”.

Now that sure is literally a chase, huh?!
