“So Not True,� Paris denies club catfight incident

Although it’s seemingly believable that Paris Hilton will get herself in a club catfight considering her notoriety in Hollywood, I guess there are just times when we just have to give her the benefit of the doubt.

In an interview with E!, our dear heiress cleared up rumors “alleging she was slugged in the face Tuesday night by a reveler while at an L.A. club and now bears a large bruise on her cheek.�

“It’s so not true,â€? Paris tells E! “I had a great time last night and didn’t even have an argument with anyone. I don’t know where they come up with this stuff.â€?

Although Paris admitted she was in the club in question, our dear heiress insists that she spent the night talking with her sister, Nicky, her sister’s boyfriend, and another female friend since her boyfriend, Benji was away on tour with his band, Good Charlotte.

Paris adds, “It’s a completely made-up story,â€? and could possibly be for the club’s publicity.

So I guess (and hope) that clear things up. Question is, do you believe her?
